Where did the past 11 years go? Last night I sat in bed thinking about the past 11 years, alot is just a memory and then there are the times you will never forget.
I still remember Keenan’s birth like it was yesterday, the whole 18 hours of it.. lol… The time I lost Keenan or I could say he wondered off in Frankston shopping centre.. he was about 3.. well the whole shopping centre was looking for him and i had died atleast 3 times from heart attacks. They found him in Target playing the Xbox.
Or the time he was about ummm 3 again and he was doing his dives off the couch behind my back, cause he knew he wasn’t allowed to, well he fall hard and hurt himself and spent the night in bed telling me he had a sore belly, well I was woken by my little baby the next morning and he was in a lot of pain… but not in his belly… he had broken his arm!..and yes he still to this day does belly dives off the couch….LOL
I could go on all night..
Keenan I want to wish you a very happy birthday, and may all your dreams come true!… I love so much sweetie

Its been such a long time since i have had the chance to blog.. a chance to share some of my latest work. I don’t even know if anyone pops by anymore?
This past year has been very hard for myself and my family. But i felt i found the strength to fight my cancer, move forward and keep living my life the way i wanted, hair or no hair, boobs or no boobs. I really felt a few months back that everything was starting to fall back into place again, kids where happy, Mark was loving his new job and me my business was building up again from being closed last year…..well….
On Friday 10th of July 2009, the last day of school holidays my life changed again…forever….
I was sitting out on my decking with my sister in law Kellie, having a coffee, Keenan,Jorja and my nephew Blake and niece Jordyn playing inside. Kellie and i where planning a trip to Spotlight… we had some grand plans (lol).. The funny thing is that Kellie DROPPED IN for a quick visit… boy i am glad she did… While making our plans my right hand started to shake…to the point where i couldn’t stop it… it was the strangest feeling… I told Kellie…. she grab my hand to try and stop it, at that point i have now real idea what happened, i still don’t only what Kellie told me later.
I fell back into my chair and started seizing, foaming at the mouth. I not sure how long for, When i did come around Kellie had already called the ambulance and was on the phone to my brother. Being my stubborn self (lol) of course i tried to stand up with Kellie fighting to keep my down, Poor Kellie, too scared to think what would of happened if she wasn’t there. Kellie helped me get up and go to the toilet, as i had wet myself. And also helped me get into bed. I really only remember little bits, i remember being put in the ambulance, arriving at Frankston Hospital, doctors looking at me, just bits. At some point during the day/or night, i had another fit. At this point i think they rushed through my MRI scan.
This was the moment, They found a single tumour on my brain, my cancer was back, my cancer had spread. Before i could do anything i was being transferred to the Royal Melb Hospital to have brain surgery.
Again everything is such a blur… the drugs they had me on.. i don’t remember much at all. I know i had surgery sometime on Saturday.
Waking up from surgery was again shocking, i couldn’t move my right arm or hand or fingers… nothing… Had i had a stroke? that’s all i was thinking will i ever move my arm again? My Doctor told me that swelling caused from surgery and affected the movement part of my brain, and as the swelling reduced, the more movement would come back.
Four days later i was home.
So over the next month…
I started Physio straight away and within a week had started to move my thumb.
I was told i will have to start radiation to my brain to kill any other cancer cells they where unable to pick up in scans
That my hair would fall out again
That there was no cure, and my cancer was pretty much going to return in another part of my body at some point during my life, and they wanted to scan me every 3 months to keep on top of it and catch it early
That i was given 18mths to 5 years to live…….
my sentence.
back tomorrow with part two.
