{ A little getaway… day 2 } Connie Hatch Photography

Day 2 in Toora….

By now I am really beginning to LOVE this little town, so peaceful and beautiful! Today we walked down main street!

So CUTE, not very long at all but filled with old shops that have been turned into homes! YES! I kidd you not, some of the shop windows even had

their own curtains with a little decor! In one shop as we walked past, they had their “front door” open and the entire family were sitting down watching TV!

At the end of main street is the Toora Pub, where all the locals seem to hang out all day! Below I took a photo looking back up main street with the Toora pub and the wind

mills in the background on the hills!

{ A little getaway } Connie Hatch Photography

Mark, Keenan, Jorja and ME! Took a much need break over Australia Day long weekend!

A friend of mine ( Thanks Bec! ) suggested Toora, a small, but beautiful town about 2 hours from Melbourne!

So I booked a nice cabin and off we went! Well I can tell you that we had the best time in a very long time! We stayed at the Toora Tourist Park, which was just AWESOME! A whole holiday in just one park! You really didn’t have to leave!

It had everything!

One of the best parts of the weekend was watching Jorja catch her very first fish off the pier! Her excitment, joy, happiness and “THAT” smile will live long in my heart!

On that magical note I will leave you with some photo’s from our first day in Toora!
